ABOUT THE BIBLE
WE BELIEVE the BIBLE to be absolutely inerrant in matters of doctrine and the physical world, divinely inspired by God and written by men without error. It is the true revelation of God made known to man by the Holy Spirit and is the ABSOLUTE AND FINAL authoritative rule of faith and conduct.
ABOUT GOD
WE BELIEVE in the absolute authority of Almighty God and His word pertaining to all things.
WE BELIEVE in one true God, Creator of heaven and earth, eternally existent in three persons, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit; equal in nature, separate in person, and subservient in duties. God is Spirit (invisible, incorporeal) who is immutable in nature. His attributes include holiness, goodness, love, omniscience, omnipresence, and omnipotence.
ABOUT MANKIND
WE BELIEVE that mankind, male and female, was created in the image of God so He could have a close, intimate relationship (communion) with them and they were given dominion over all of His creation.
WE BELIEVE that it is the Lord God's ORIGINAL INTENT, therefore His PRESENT INTENT, for mankind to live life completely free from all lack, strife and sickness (pain).
WE BELIEVE that the Lord God, in His sovereignty, gave mankind not only the right, but the responsibility to CHOOSE either for or against Him. Man's choice to exalt HIS OWN DESIRES over the desires of the Lord God, therefore choosing his independence from the Lord God, is what caused the fall of mankind.
ABOUT JESUS CHRIST
WE BELIEVE in the deity of Jesus Christ, the only begotten Son of God, eternally begotten of the Father, in His conception by the Holy Spirit, His virgin birth, His sinless life, His miracles, His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood, His bodily resurrection, His ascension to the right hand of the Father and His personal return in power and glory.
ABOUT SALVATION
WE BELIEVE in the life, death, burial, resurrection and ascension of Jesus Christ as the cornerstone of our faith. All who RECEIVE JESUS CHRIST by faith can become sons and daughters of God, once again having the liberty to have close, intimate relationship (communion) with the Lord God as He originally intended. Jesus Christ is the only way to receive the blessing of redemption.
WE BELIEVE in the Restoration of ALL Things Spiritual, Mental, Physical, Financial, Social
ABOUT THE HOLY SPIRIT
WE BELIEVE in the deity of the Holy Spirit, who proceeds from the Father and the Son, the active agent in creation and regeneration, convicts sin, righteousness and judgment, indwells and sanctifies believers, restrains sin, equips believers with spiritual gifts, and empowers believers to live as effective witnesses and yield the fruit of the Spirit.
WE BELIEVE in the Baptism in the Holy Ghost as described on the Day of Pentecost and demonstrated all throughout the book of Acts with the initial evidence of speaking in other tongues along with the continual evidences of the gifts and fruit of the spirit as outlined in God’s word.
WE BELIEVE in the present supernatural ministry of the HOLY SPIRIT, our Divine Connection, who bestows upon us the gifts and various manifestations of God's presence on Earth since the Day of Pentecost and continuing until the Lord's eminent return.
WE BELIEVE in the miracle working, healing and delivering power of the Lord God manifesting itself through Jesus Christ by the power of the Holy Ghost in us as a means to return mankind to their original state—at peace and in relationship with the Lord God.
ABOUT THE CHURCH
WE BELIEVE the church was instituted by Jesus Christ to be His body and the manifestation of his presence in the earth. The primary function of the church is to worship the Lord God. It is an assembly of baptized, professing believers under the discipline of the God’s Word, called out to fulfill the Great Commission, administer ordinances (primarily baptism and the Lord’s Table) and reflect spiritual gifts.
ABOUT BAPTISM
WE BELIEVE that Baptism in water is an outward manifestation of our relationship with Jesus Christ’s death, burial and resurrection. So then, we reckon ourselves to be dead to sin, our old man being crucified and buried, and therefore alive unto God so that we can walk in newness of life. “Baptism” Gr. baptizo-- to dip repeatedly, to immerse, to submerge.
ABOUT COMMUNION, or THE LORD'S SUPPER
WE BELIEVE that God’s Holy Communion is a symbol of the death of Jesus, bringing us into newness of life, access into his presence while here on earth and the promise of life hereafter.
WE BELIEVE that God’s Holy Communion is a symbol of the blood covenant that makes deity and humanity coexist as one unit in total agreement. It is a sign of our eternal commitment to be one with His spirit and His eternal commitment to be one with ours, much like in a marriage covenant.
ABOUT ETERNITY
WE BELIEVE the blessed hope of the church is the pre-tribulation rapture of all believers, including the resurrection of those who have fallen asleep in Christ and their translation together with those who are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord.
WE BELIEVE that, following a seven year period of tribulation, scripture promises the return of our Lord Jesus Christ with His saints from Heaven to rule and reign for one thousand years on earth.
WE BELIEVE that for believers of Jesus Christ, the day is soon to come when the hope of our purification will be realized."...The Lord Himself shall descend from Heaven with a shout...and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then, we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them...to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord." We will no longer have to burst through the barrier of mortality to reach Him. For we shall all be like Him and we shall see Him as He is. Then, we will dwell with Him for all eternity at ULTIMATE PEACE with the Lord God in a glorified body without the effects of sin.
WE BELIEVE that those who have not chosen to come into right relationship with God through Jesus Christ will suffer eternal judgment. The devil and his angels, the beast and the false prophet and anyone whose name is not found written in the Book of Life, shall be consigned to everlasting punishment in the lake of fire which burns with brimstone. |
